Scharnhorst that happens to have a really nice secondary armament does not get to use it in Blitz, am I correct in this assumption?

Did they implement some sort of third option, as in main caliber, secondary, and torps?

Though those 5.9” AP shells sure do make a mess of DDs and cruisers.

Anyone else feel like she’s kinda weak? I feel like the Dunky kicks the Scharnhorst’s butt... and it’s a tier lower. Scharn’s main battery is like a shotgun, seems VERY inaccurate. Her secondaries seem significantly more accurate to me. She’s fun... but for me any rate not a win machine.

Yeah I was curious about Scharnhorst performance in blitz myself.

I suspect it can do better than other BBs in supporting caps.

Due to the short duration of games and small map size, slower BBs seem to be at pretty big disadvantage compared to faster and nimble ships.

Scharnhorst looks like a very good ship at pushing and supporting caps early on, especially covering its own DDs vs enemy cruisers.

Scharnhorst is not a first line battleship. The 12” main battery just doesn’t have the oomph to duel with the other BBs at range. But she’s a damn fine close range brawler. That means you’ve got to avoid being engaged by enemy Battleships until you’ve closed to secondary and torpedo range. Sadly she’s kind of hopeless when facing higher tier ships.

But if they release a tech tree version with the twin 15” turrets....
