For gods sake, take away the ability to get in a squadron of different tier ships. The team that gets these three imbeciles is going to fail every time. Match making has problems as it is without this feature.

Generally I agree but in the current meta there are a bunch of the top rank that can pull off a failtoon with ease. On the NA server Aegis, Founders, Prammo, Flood, QCFR, etc come to mind and I’m sure I’m missing a bunch.

I understand but that’s not really my point. Any of us over 65% WR players failtooning is not going to throw the game... although i don’t really see the point in trying it. I’ve been up solo against triple platoons from all those mentioned fleets and won many times, as well as lost. Three 45% WR players , one in a Phoenix, one in a Wyoming and one in an Okhotnik will be a guaranteed loss in a Tier 6 match.(Happened to me in my Pensacola today obviously). You just can’t carry that much bad. It’s not fair to either side to have to put up with that.

It’s the same thing as in Tank Blitz. It took WG years to not allow tier 1 and 10 toons, at least here we are starting with something close to being rational. We have had enough time playing since the start of the game that most of the veterans should know which clan tags that are useful and which are not in game and be able to adapt to the red/green makeup. Meatshields, meatshields, meatshields
The days of easy high WR are slipping away when more real players show up and less bots are playing.
Three players toons are the biggest issue. Good player toons are OP and bad players are well, bad

I ran into this last night at Tier IX. The failtoon had a Tier VIII DD and the Scharnhorst. Sadly they were not red. So our Battleships were my Iowa and the Tier VII Scharnhorst against a pair of Tier IX enemy. The Scharnhorst survived the game, but did under 30k damage even though the enemy almost completely ignored him. Presumably because they knew firing 11” AP at an Izumo is a near total waste of time.
Until people realize that Divisions are based on the highest Tier ship for matchmaking this will be a serious problem. And they’ll have to realize it on their own since we seem to have f-all for documentation on playing this game. At least beyond the wonderfully helpful hints in the transition screens.
