Just got the tier six , And while it's not fully upgraded, it doesn't feel as strong given the competition as the tier five dollars. Maybe I just need more seat time in it but it feels like the Pensacola would rip it to shreds

The Nürnberg is a beast. And while the Pepsi-Cola has heavier guns, she just can’t match the German’s RoF nor the punch of the torpedoes inside 6 km. That’s not to say you won’t get eaten alive by those 8” guns. Just that you can stand on an even footing and have a strong advantage at knife fighting range.
Good morning, thank you for the follow up. The ship is stock at this point as I'm trying to max out my Pensacola, I wonder if that is what I'm a bit underwhelmed with...
I’ve just finished the grind at tier 8 and am saving silver for the Roon.
The playstyle is fairly consistent throughout. German cruisers are all-rounders. You need to switch ammo types to get the best out of them. They are tanky.
After obtaining the Nurnberg I quickly racked up 1600 plus battles in it. I’m sure as I fool around with tier 7 I will rack up another 1600 battles in I’ve even managed to seek out a couple of BigCal medals with it. After playing the Nurnberg it tough to want to play the other tier 6 cruisers but each has they’re own specific nuances and the Nurnberg will actually help teach the others. Simply by realizing what they don’t have I learned to compensate to take advantage of what they do have and not push so aggressively. I’ve barely got my feet wet in tier 7 with the New Orleans, Yorck and Shchors. I’m liking all three enough at the moment. And I’m sure as I play more and learn each ships subtleties I will enjoy them even more
