I BLAME CV - Ranked battle comparison the better tier and balance type ship...
Last season RB play at tier 7 ship... More firepower, more dangerous, ofc different than tier 6 or 5 RB previous season... I enjoy it, I end up on master league, but it's not quiet have good impression for me...
The reason tier 7 is not good for RB...
- Hiryu (CV) is monsters carry
You guys play CV on ranked? How powerfull hiryu? Oh it's depend by who drive it... I know...but... Dude I watch hiryu on top leaderboard after battle too much... Well he is good player then... No that's not my point, I mean it's should be every single type of ship have same chance to get mvp(carry), but on tier 7, CV is too good, they can spot, chip damage(fire and flood), secure kill, everything... at the end... it's feel like if you get noob CV you lose?
Let's compare to previous season RB, it's different on RB tier 5-6, CV is not carry that much, reasonable squadron, if you doing right on CV with your team doing same right as you do, it's going fine, your team won with team work, also damage gap between CV and other ship is not that big...
It's different story on tier 7 RB, CV can carry his team who didn't doing right, that's for me is not good cuz you give won to some incompetent through next league, and the match on tier 7 RB feel like gambling "which team had good CV player will win the match"
Just be honest here... When I play RB, i hope my team had better CV player than enemy bad lol.
So if I play CV, I will easily win? Lol no!? CV player also feel the same(gambling)

What I see on tier 7 RB, CV will get average 50k-70k damage per match almost guarantee top 3 every single match. When CV doing carry... damage will get more than 80k, if CV lose cuz team noob... 50k is quiet normal for defeatedCV. compare to other ship tier 7 will have average get 30k-40k(normally) 50k-80k(carry). The gap or damage between normal ship is too different and CV is the best.
It's fine it's just CV doing CV thing...right???
Well.... Yeah but... Something have change on ranked battle, and I personally blame cv(not the player). I talking about the game, not player base, so stfu...
I blame CV cuz it's make bad effect on RB, at this point :
- lack diversity type of ship
- BB spam
- cruiser is f*ck up ship
- contest cap between DD it's become... Not see that much...
I miss balance type ship on previous season (5-6), some cruiser, some BB, some DD ofc. Tier 7 RB too many player use BB, I miss watch cruiser carry my team and win, DD carry and win, different type ship get mvp each match.
So the problem is the player who don't want play other ship? Not CV fault?
Well... The reason most player choose BB is... he wanna play longer, try to be usefull for team. If you play cruiser or DD, you get target by CV mostly... That's the reason you see some your friend or just someone you know who good at cruiser or DD, they choose to play BB on RB, cuz they didn't give a sh#t about CV...
ForExamples you play DD, go to cap, CV attack, dodge some form, take 2 torp, result loose half HP cuz other enemy shoot you ofc
Pretty much same with cruiser, CV attack, turn on AA skill, but shoot down just 1 plane, also plane shoot down after the planes drop his load result 3/4 HP loose cuz you shown broad side after dodge torp and salvo from BB...ofc
Then you play BB is better and it's good choice, more HP stay longer on battle ofc... and everyone(mostly I guess) think the same...
Result : MM mostly on RB will have... 1 CV, 4-5BB, 1-2 cruiser or DD #lackofdiversity
On RB I play nagato and akatsuki, play more with nagato, I don't have CV on tier 7. Maybe you(CV player) can give sight? Ofc about CV on RB not random battle. CV too stronk?,or not? Have some tips counter CV? Put on comment...
I will appreciate so much...
RB is fun, less noob, good player is promising, giving better experience than normal random battle.
But...
Tier 7 is not balanced for RB, personally tier 5-6 is better, you will see cruiser and DD perform, and CV also can do well, but not too much, take over all the other ship job.
Additional question to all who know the answer or you can just guessing the answer maybe???:
- Ranger or Hiryu is better? RB ofc
- how to counter CV?
- how to punish Planes?
- how to not bunch up and have good AA defense? Not loose objective ofc
