I didn't start playing until after the chance to get either the Mikassa or Aurora...I hope they bring them back to allow others to get them. I understand they may not be the end all, be all. However, they both sound interesting, especially the Mikasa.

They’re both really fun ships, although I haven’t played my Aurora much since I first started so I need to rehab her. The Mikasa is fun also, just super slow. Her main batteries loaded with HE are deadly against DD’s. Hey, it’s the only tier 2 battleship and it’s historical camo is awesome.
De grasse, it's my main money maker. Was lucky enough to get it from a single yolo heavy crate roll because "why not?" I also very much enjoy it's rather high firing arc and fast reload speed. It's always nice to kill ships hiding behind islands.
Kamikaze, Yubari and Aurora are my go-tos. Recently got the Campbelltown and it’s great, but there’s not much point in playing a teir 3 premium. Having said that, the Aurora is great when you’re having a bad day. I love those guns. Ive also got the Mikasa, which is ok. Not a heap of fun to play really, particularly now everyone plays destroyers and it generates a pittance, so it doesn’t get taken out a lot. And I’ve got the Okhotnik... it’s definately not a go-to boat. You have to be in the right mood for it.
I was not a big fan of the Aurora at first, but then I realized how fast her reload time was compared to other ships at its tier. A full salvo of HE can crush DDs. It’s pretty darn slow for a cruiser, but the dpm is solid.

Curious, why do you say that? Or were you just talking bout for you personally? I can think of three right off the top of my head why people may want to play a low tier premium ship such as the Campbelltown:
1) To have fun, or just as a change of pace. This is the best of my three reasons imo.
2) Earn silver. 10k silver is still another 10k silver. Or however much people make in it. Yeah, people can min/max a higher tier premium to make more per battle, but see point 1 about change of pace.
3) Some people spend money to convert ship based XP to free XP to speed up unlocks. Doing your daily doubles on all your ships would greatly speed up this process.
Yeah campeltown is nice ship but....wickes is awesome too and the wicke is free lol.. No premium ship is op for its tier nor is it worth buying as you dont get much more silver playing premium ships....soo many players wasting money on prem ships and not even playing them.
ium ships....soo many players wasting money on prem ships and not even playing them.
And soo many players getting their money's worth out of playing them too, so what's the point of making either of those comments? Unless you are arguing that for everyone, they are a waste of money.
See my post right before yours, silver isn't the only reason to get a premium ship. Some people have real life ties to the real ship and want it, some like to look at their ships in port or like the stats, etc. etc. or like owning every ship in the game, etc.
Your judgment for yourself (waste of money to buy) and point of view is completely understandable but it doesn't apply to everyone. For many, it is a waste of money to buy premium ships. For many it is a good use of their money for them to buy premium ships.

Exactly spook..only reason for some to buy premium ships currently are for those who collecting or have attachment to them...but that is small percentage...for gaming purpose they currnetly hold litle value for what u spend....players need to be informed on matters that cost real cash. Dont hype up premium ships...most buy premium ships thinking its gonna boost them...currently they give u like 4k silver more per battle...do the math...it aint worth it your better off buying gold. Players looking to spend money look for solid advice...currently spend your money on gold or solver bundles...not premium ships..

I actually think that MOST premium ships are weak for their tier, with the exception of the Campeltown and DeGrasse. I buy them because I like naval history and machinery, most of them stay in harbor or I play them in co-op. Even the Campeltown and DeGrasse are only very strong if the player is skilled enough to make use of their advantages, there is no ship that makes up for a player being unskilled. Some may be a bit more forgiving but that’s about it.

The real reason is because I’ve got the kamikaze and other higher tier premiums and I find myself going to them first. I played WoT and WoWS a lot on console and PC and from that I’ve got the mentality that playing higher teir premiums earns a decent amount of silver... The Campbelltown is a very solid performer and fun to play. And yes it is fun to bash around at lower tiers from time to time.
I don’t have the Molotov and rarely see one. On paper she doesn’t look like much of an improvement over the Kirov, what do you like about her?
I don't have Kirov, but the Molotov has paper paper thin armour but is a sniper and has good penetration. Easy to citadel all ships of the same tier, torpedoes though have a tiny range, and aa isn't anything to put off enemy carrier players.
To affirm that the aeroplane is going to 'revolutionize' navel warfare of the future is to be guilty of the wildest exaggeration.
I have Yubari and Campbeltown as prem ships. Ive had the latter for a while now, the former being new to me, thus I dont have great performance in it. Camby however, I like that she has smoke. Makes low tier people think that Ive just disappeared, only for me to reappear and blast them with my torps
