Hello everyone, some of you could know me from discord as @chaoscosmos.
First of all, and once again thanks for the effort of creating the forums to the people involved. Good job.
Ill try to keep it short, as many of us experienced the "discussion" on dev discord at WoWSB Community, and some other places.
There are not enough players and I understand that slowing down player progress is crucial to fill those low tiers. We all could benefit greatly from a larger playerbase. Not only the people who make money from it - but mostly players, just for the sake of having a good time.
In order for a playerbase to grow is not only get new people in, but also keep those who already have the pleasure of:
World Of Warships Blitz Experience - Wargaming™
Most of us are used to the Wargaming standards. And those are:
-Resonable 30,60,120,360 day premium account prices. Wich help to support the game, and save some of the painfull grind time for more civilised amusements.
-Some basic standard in pricing the premium content overall. Fact that the premium ships are way more expensive than its PC counterparts is just absurd.
-Silver economy wich does not exclude regular casual players from the opportunity of gaining good rewards for their good games, and their tech tree progress.
I wont even mention the "benefits" of having a prem acc.
-Experience system based on experience, not Russian Number Generated Blueprint system, spiced with EA grade lootboxes- We all know how that went south.
Now dont get me wrong. I like the game and fully understand its... a beta? But its not, and I will not touch the subject of "magnetic torpedoes" or anything strictly technical. Its perfecly understandable that Dev's need time.
The game has a much more potential than tanks, if the playerbase wont be eradicated by bad decisions, and lack of actions where they are needed.
Thats why i propose a solution:
-Lower the prices of ship slots, make a bundle, give few in an event.
-Change the equiplent system so people can try many ships with different setups. And not pay a hard earned silver fortune every time they want to explore setups.
-Increase the number of fleet member slots
- Fleets are the best place for keeping the playerbase connected and active.
-Implement a system where people who play together in fleet/platoon are rewarded not only for their accomplishments, but mainly for playing as a team (exp/silver multiplier-other rewards)
-Speed up the work needed to launch any kind of fleet vs fleet/team vs team LOW TIER COMPETITION. WHEN THE PLAYERCOUNT HITS THE MINIMUM REQUIRED.
In other words. If there are too little players to cover all tiers, at least make the lower tiers exciting and fun to play for everyone AND together. Give people more space or they will keep leaving after they hit t6/t7 and play with bots, while not making much progress cause the devs try to push them down in lowtier. Its a death circle.
