How many games to get to the chewy center of Tier VIII?

I had a bit more than 300 battles played with my Colorado before getting the XP needed to research NorCar.
So they're not THAT much.
Wait for grinding XP AND Silver for Iowa and Montana  lol!

JFC! If I put that many games into a Tier VII in WOTB I could Free XP my way to Tier X and have plenty of XP and credits left over after buying them all fully upgraded! Why is this game so much...stingier? 



Even full bore WoWS isn’t this hard on you. As far as I can tell there are dramatically better victory rewards and opportunities to gain XP and credits. 

So you spent the equivalent of over 2 full time work weeks playing to,almost, get to Tier X from Tier VIII? Are you f*cking kidding me? 

Mediocre graphics and preposterous weapon effects can be coped with when a final goal is attainable. But burning that much time just to almost achieve the final fifth of a single line? Nope. Not interested.

This game just became something to do when the WoTB servers are down for maintenance and nothing more.

its taken me 76 games to get 101k xp on my NC But i am premium account pay to win noob so eh don't listen to me i skipped Colorado completely

Gold to convert xp into free xp

Not necessarily granted I’ve been playing since it came out in Canada but I have about 110k free exp saved up. Throw the free exp boost on your main ship and it adds up eventually

Okaaaaay. I asked if he spent a bunch of money buying crates OR converted XP to Free XP. So I had no confusion as to how you can acquire Free XP, just how he had managed to get enough to skip a Tier VII Battleship and still research a Tier VIII.

It is very obvious that this game doesn’t want you to be able to progress through even the middle tiers without playing a truly tedious number of games in your current ship. In Tanks Blitz I’ve played over 11k games. If I had had to play every single one in the same tank I’d have quit after a month or even less.

I’m more than happy to give them the benefit of the doubt. Even if only slightly. But if they don’t buff the game rewards enough to allow advancement in under a hundred games within the next couple of patches, this game will be one or two OCD ship freaks vs bots at every tier pretty damned fast.
